Mediocrity is not a sin. We all excel in certain areas, and have no choice but to be average in others. The idea that we can't ever be average leads to perfectionism and a wealth of other issues.

That one about mediocrity, I agree. My college professor even told us all that "Mediocrity is a sin."

I hate mediocrity. I really do.

I try to run away from it as much as I can. And I love people like you who strive to do the same.

Hi, I really am glad you have this blog for people to read. I'm full time student, earning a masters in counseling/psychology and work full time at a salon. There really needs to be a lot more communication amongst fellow counselors, other than the ACA. I can't even afford their student discount at $85.00.

thanks for all your nice comments! as you can see, timely answers to comments is not one of my strengths :)

moritherapy is actually just a play on words. it sometimes gets confused with morita therapy http://www.moritherapy.org/article/morita-therapy-the-psychology-of-action/

Good morning Isabella,

I typically don't blog, but I wanted to share my agreement with Dawn. I was drawn by the title...where you CHANGED the order of two words to demonstrate how transformation can take a person into a better state. It's a subtle yet powerful statement.

I am also very curious about the concept of "Moritherapy." Is this something you created by combining your last name and the word, "therapy?" Is it a play on word or is there a deeper meaning?
