I experienced the same problem in college – that is looking for some problems to work in order to submit a research paper or thesis.

All this weird studies seem to have little value. Its fun reading them though.

I’m a dog person. Got myself a 4 yr. old Shepherd.

scientific proof for why i prefer cats: while your dogs seem to be miffed, my cat is just lying there. nothing fazes her.

but then, to be fair, dogs can be like that, too. so let’s not be specie-ist. dogs, cats, crocs, it’s all good, no matter what the weird scientists say

I cracked up (00ps, poor choice of words for your particular blog) imagining the Stop Staring At Me experiment – of course in my ‘hood probably nobody would notice.
And you’d choose ‘cat’? You’d choose ‘cat’? What do you mean, you’d choose ‘cat’? Maybe there could be an experiment “People who stopped reading people’s blogs, who chose ‘cat’”!
My daschunds and I are outraged.

Perhaps the strangest in this list is the first one. To do a study on the relationship of urination and the space between two men is just bizarre. Still, there has to be a reason for it, right? Perhaps, the findings can lead to bigger and deeper issues. Or they can lead to a better understanding of the male anatomy which in turn helps solve certain illnesses. One can never really tell.
