Why is it that snow in Japan looks so darn meditative, poetic, and beautiful? I actually saw a couple of geishas pass by while sitting in a cafe in Kyoto. apparently the snow on this particular photograph comes from carefully scratching the film. i wonder whether that contributes to the 3D effect of the image, which, i think, again contributes to the serene, peaceful feeling of it all. isabella mori (@moritherapy)´s last blog ..snowy geisha on a wordless wednesday
