I have blocked over 40,000 spam comments in just over a year. Probably 95% of them are completely automated. Sometimes, the ones that actually look like a person wrote it, are created with a program. The comments you received are really weird that's for sure. I have reported dozens of bad sites, and the most effective way I've seen is to report an adsense violation directly to google.
