raj, it does look real. the land/seascape is typical westcoast. i suspect the sky was from a few weeks ago, when we had an unusual thunderstorm, combined with fire and smoke in the area. the photograph was also photoshopped, i assume to underscore the already dramatic colours.
even photoshopped – the colours here on the westcoast are truly breathtaking. that’s why i was a bit disappointed when i saw the legendary sunsets in hawaii – what we have here is definitely of the same caliber.
