All of my children are either "blended" or adopted and so I never had the blessing (?)of childbirth, though, I did have five miscarriages! To be at the birth of my first grandchild and then many of the subsequent "grands" was a fabulous gift ...I am so in awe of the feelings I experienced those days...I think the only thing that ever matched it was the day 39 years ago when I first held my five week old adopted daughter in my arms and realized the pure love I had for her! What a gift from my five daughters! Inclusion and wonder! So I had to offer late congratulations to you....and say thank you for sharing your precious story! And because of your grandparent memories, they are also passed on to this newcoming grandchild. Not to mention that tremendous love-rush - like no other!
