Hi! I googled 'wheel of suffering' and got this.
http://www.lessonsforliving.com/wheel_of_life1.htm

Is this what you meant? I wonder if the more we try and 'control the wheel' the more stuck we stay. If we can accept we are/ it is 'good enough' the wheel kind of turns without us trying to manipulate it? (am referring to myself of course!) x

thanks for dropping by, raul. yes, the drugs of choice are unlimited ...

christina - it's interesting that you use the metaphor of the wheel. in connection with addiction, so far i've only thought about the wheel in terms of a hamster wheel. as i'm looking at your comment today, all of a sudden i'm also thinking about the buddhist concept of samsara, the wheel of suffering ...

Absolutely! Thanks for reminding us - I look around me and all I see are people (including myself) acting like little hamsters on a wheel in order to achieve what is 'good enough'. So hard to get off the wheel. Thank you for reminding us.

I liveblogged the Sales Performance Meetup and Fred spoke about the addictions of choice, including drugs! It's really all about being careful and everything in moderation!

Keep going, Isabella!
