I just woke up from a strange dream in which I saw the word paramita in a bottle of pills. I conducted a search on line and I came across this site. I have never saw this word before in my life. I will continue my search.

Oh, this post is too ironic. I am Buddhist and I found Buddhist disciplines to be instrumental in my recovery from my bout with anorexia and bulimia. For me, Buddhism's emphasis on self-examination and analysis formed the locus of my ability to recover from my disorder.

There's a woman on a eating disorders blog I contribute to, www.disorderedtimes.org, who also researches how Buddhism can be applied to eating disorders. Look for any posts there by Meg.
